Re: Coronado Island Marriott Resort
We just recently stayed at The Marriott Coronado Island for 3 nights with the family to relax and enjoy some of the many great things there are to enjoy in San Diego. Waterfront facing room with or without balcony makes a great location for those October San Diego Sunsets. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! The following are a few details of our room: Comfortable, large, very clean, large bathroom, nice amenities, sofa bed, desk, flat screen, standard coffee maker, and fridge.
The hotel gym was nothing special- located in a small area but had sufficient equipment to get a nice little workout in. Definitely served it's purpose! One nice thing that the gym offered was a group workout class every morning which helped me to keep up my morning regime.
Parking at the hotel was pricey. They offered valet and self parking. Another option would be to park on the street if there are places available and save the parking charges which really add up after staying more than a couple of days.
Walking around the hotel was great fun and very safe at night. There is a nice variety of places to eat by the ferry. The kids loved going for pizza and ice cream and then walking back to the hotel. Something we can't do at home where we come from!
Overall, we had a fabulous time and a relaxing stay at this hotel. If all goes as planned, we will be back to visit in the summertime!
