Has anyone ever stayed here? I've been looking at hotels and have seen some that are really nice but I'm wondering if they're worth the price. I've overpaid for "5-star hotels" before and been totally disappointed, but some of these look fantastic. Me and my sisters are taking a vacation away from our husbands and kids and want to just lounge by the water and I think Coronado would be a great place to do so but I'm still not 100% sold.

It's okay. I'd suggest staying downtown and just hopping over to the island when you have time. Everything is overpriced over there because it's a little tourist trap. It's still cool to walk around though.
