A very nice stay at this Double Tree hotel in downtown San Diego - Review
When we exited the freeway on Front Street, we somehow passed The Double Tree Downtown San Diego Hotel. We called the staff and they kindly guided us from our location. (It is a little tricky getting to the hotel). The parking garage is very difficult to navigate your vehicle through and the parking fee is definitely not worth the $20/night that they charge.
We were given a room on the 21st floor overlooking the pool, harbor, and downtown area of San Diego. It was unreal! We were pleased with the cleanliness of the room (I happen to be a germ-o-phobe!) and the bathroom amenities. We were hoping that the hotel offered shuttle service to and from the gaslamp district so we could leave our car and have a rip roaring time, but no such luck. Instead we opted for taxi service.
Overall, a very nice stay at The Double Tree in downtown San Diego!
