Re: El Cordova Hotel
Our stay at El Cordova was just fine. We were given a suite on the first floor just off of the main courtyard which had a gorgeous view throughout. This hotel is in the flight path of NAS North Island so don't expect peace and quiet. We actually enjoyed it and found it rather facinating to watch them fly overhead.
There is a hotel restaurant/bar called The Brigantine. Excellent burgers, caesar salads, and bloody marys! Service is good and the food was prepared quickly. The bartender that works on Sunday mornings is hysterical. Kept us laughing the entire time. It's worth sitting and eating at the bar!
