The Gaslamp Plaza Suites was a great find in San Diego - Review
We booked our room here at The Gaslamp Plaza Suites after we were unable to get a room at The Sofitel and it was a great find! We were greeted by friendly staff upon arrival and were given great advice on places to go, things to do, and restaurants to eat at in the area. We had a mini suite for our stay which was very clean and nicely furnished. It had all of the usual amenities plus a small kitchen area and a fabulous view of the Gaslamp District, This hotel serves a very nice complimentary breakfast in the mornings on the rooftop of the hotel! It is a great little area to hang out and enjoy the view. The hotel did not have an actual restaurant to eat at but with all of the given choices in the immediate area, it was not a big deal to us at all.

Re: Gaslamp Plaza Suites
Does it get any better than SD Gas Lamp District??!!$^&% Once we checked in, we never left the area. All kinds of restaurants, bars, and shops surrounding the property. We had a great suite on the 9th floor with a view of the city. A bit noisy over the weekend but that did not bother us. This would be a fabulous hotel to stay at during baseball season. Parking at the hotel was pricey as is everywhere else in the area.
