I booked this hotel mainly for the quality and value along with the fairly good reviews I have read. The last time I was in San Diego I stayed at one of the downtown hotels for three times the price and I really didn't think it was worth it.
The staff at this hotel was friendly and efficient. It seemed like they are a very well organized customer oriented team. It's nice to go somewhere and see that the employee really goes out of their way to accommodate the guests, and this was exactly what they did. The Hilton Garden Inn is a good bet if you are able to be a few miles north of downtown San Diego plus you get the added benefit of taking walks on the incredible Del Mar beach right by the hotel ! Free parking too.

I highly recommend The Hilton Garden Inn for anyone doing business in the golden triangle area. The staff was friendly, the rooms are reasonable and the food was surprisingly good. The entire property is well maintained and exceptionally clean. The manager was a hard working individual who obviously loved his job and it showed!
