We decided on a last minute weekend away and were able to get a room at the Hilton with no problem what-so-ever. We were a bit worried that this hotel would be noisy because it is an airport hotel but to our surprise, it was very quiet. Our room, along with the majority of the rooms, either face the marina or harbor. You'd never think you were at an airport. The airport does have restrictions on the hours in which planes can land and take off and I believe they are prohibited between 11pm-7am.
In front of the hotel is a nice boardwalk/path that you can walk along the side of Harbor Island. You see all kinds of people walking it! The hotel also has a decent gym which is free to use. They have the basics which was more than I ever use. Not too crowded either.
We ordered room service for breakfast and it was pretty darn good. It took 17 minutes to get to our room -very quick for room service. The omelet was hot but the toast was just cool. It is nearly impossible to get good toast from room service so we really didn't expect anything more.
Good hotel, Great location.

Went to SD on business and stayed at this hotel. It was close and convenient to SD Airport. A bit pricey though it really didn't matter because my company was paying for it. Had a great night sleep on one of the most comfortable hotel beds I had slept on in a long time.
