Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter Review
Hotel is conveniently located in downtown San Diego Gaslamp Quarter. The property is surrounded by hundred restaurants, nightclubs, shopping, and theater. Rooms are well decorated in a modern theme. The beds have pillow-top mattresses with down comforters- very comfortable to sleep on. There is a restaurant on premise that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Be prepare to pay for parking- not cheap. I would stay here again.

Who doesn't love San Diego!?!
I loved this Hilton. It's actually very similar to another Hilton I stayed at in Chicago. Same bathroom setup and same size. though our room had a nice little patio this time, which was about big enough to fit one person width-wise, but never-the-less, it was still a patio. everything in this hotel feels very luxurious and modern. The lobby was nice, the staff was friendly and everything went perfectly smooth.
It's location is superb. It is walking distance to a gazillion shops and restaurants. We ended up eating at Donovan's because of it's proximity and reputation. Amazing beef and amazing wine.
I don't recommend valet parking at this hotel unless money is no object. I believe they charge $30-$35 a night! There is a huge parking structure not far from the hotel on 6th and K that will cost you less than half the valet charge. A whopping $16 per night.

Rooms are a tad small, but the bed is ohhh soooo comfy.
Hotel itself is quiet despite being amongst many loud outdoor bars. No evidence of debauchery present.
Room Service is quick. The ceviche and chips was fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this snack if you like seafood.
Location is close to everything and the view is gorgeous.
Valet parking will run you $35/night OUCH! A good alternative to this is in the parking garage two blocks east at 6th and K. The charge is a max or $8/day and $8/night which is half of what the hotel charges.
