Welcome to the newly furnished Holiday Inn Express-Mission Bay located by everything great in San Diego. During your stay you will be close to the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Downtown, Convention Center, Old Town, and Mission Bay Park. They have a friendly and professional staff that will help make your stay as comfortable as possible. They offer complimentary breakfast to all of our guests in our new Smart Start breakfast area. Our other amenities include a heated pool, Jacuzzi and fitness center. All of the quest rooms are equipped with free wireless high-speed internet, television, refrigerator and microwave. Great location- basically 15 minutes to where ever you may want to go in San Diego. Easy access to the freeways. Rooms are not plush but are on the larger side. Housekeeping does a good job of keeping things tidy. I did not eat at this hotel because I was only there for one night. The elevators there seemed to be very slow. All the more reason to not be lazy and take the stairs. There are only 3 levels to this hotel.

Overall, I thought this was a good little hotel with little or no complaints. In the morning they offered a really nice, fresh buffet breakfast with a kind and friendly staff. There isn't too much around this hotel so you really need to have a car or taxi. I took advantage of the jacuzzi that they have. Nobody was using it which made it really nice to unwind after my busy day. Rooms are on the smaller side but clean and quiet which really is the important thing.
