Re: Holiday Inn Sel North Miramar
My husband and I chose this hotel because it was close to Miramar Air Force Base where are nephew is stationed. We got a really great rate on the room and we were happy that we did because we decided to "step it up a bit" and eat dinner out at places that are usually out of our budget.
Our stay at the hotel was pleasant. The room was clean, and well maintained. The 805 and the 5 freeways are very close and easy to access from this hotel. There was no charge for internet connections which seems to be rare in California. We have stayed at hotels where the charge has been $25 for a 24 hour connection. It's absurd!
We met quite a few other guests that were staying at this hotel for the very same reason we were. They seem to get a lot of business from the military families. We plan on staying at this hotel again in the near future.
