Had a blast in San Diego and were really happy that we stayed at this hotel. The Manchester Grand Hyatt is in Sea Port Village where we walked and shopped for anything and everything that we wanted. (I think I lost a couple of pounds just from walking) We had a room in the north tower with a spectacular view. The hotel has a great fitness center that was never crowded. Great bar on the 40th floor. As everywhere else in SD, parking is ridiculously expensive...$22/night for self parking UGHhhh!

The hotel is impressive upon arrival and the valet guys are pros, the lobby big and impressive. And the front desk staff was professional and very good. The decor was outdated, but I can live with that. The view was not so great because there was big building in front of us. The staff at the bar was slow and inattentive so we ended up eating and drinking on 5th Ave. I guess you could say it was more sizzle than steak.
