Marriott San Diego Mission Valley
It is a great place for a family vacation. Can get easy access to the rest of San Diego by trolley. Hotel has a fantastic pool, pleasant staff, and rooms are comfortable and clean. We took the kids to San Diego Zoo which is very close to the hotel, we all had fantastic time.

Review for Marriott San Diego Mission Valley
There aren't many hotels in the San Diego area that you don't need a car but this actually is one of them. Taking the trolley is a great, inexpensive way to get around. The trolley station is directly behind this hotel.
Nice little gym with 24 hour access - fruit and water available. The hotel is strict on having to be 16 to use the equipment.
Easy access from the rooms to multiple pools. We ordered drinks and snacks poolside- food & drinks were great, service a little slow but we gave them a break being that it was a holiday weekend. Pool closed at 11 which we thought was too early. Loved the cabanas for those of us who try to stay directly out of the sun.

Review of Marriott San Diego Mission Valley
I had an all around great experience at The Marriott Hotel in San Diego. It was really nice coming back to the room after a full and busy day of meetings, to a fresh, clean, comfortable and QUIET room. The bed was heaven! It must have been a high end mattress because I haven't slept like that in a hotel EVER!
My room was on the concierge level with access to the lounge. It was great for a quick breakfast in the morning (free) and appetizers, cocktails, and dessert in the evening. I don't think the lounge is open on the weekends but don't hold me to it. I highly recommend staying on the concierge level. Well worth it.

FANTASTIC STAY. SPACIOUS ROOM. COMFORTABLE BED. PLEASANT DECOR. NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL. MY ROOM WAS ON THE CONCIERGE LEVEL WHICH GAVE ME ACCESS TO THE LOUNGE. NICE AND RELAXING WITH ALL KINDS OF GOODIES FOR THOSE WITH ACCESS. WOULD HAPPILY RECOMMEND AND/OR STAY AT THIS MARRIOTT AGAIN.

I always get a rental car whenever I stay anywhere in California, but I do have to say that a car is not needed at this hotel. The trolley stop is right in front of the hotel which takes you to all of the hot spots in San Diego. The hotel offers shuttle service to and from the airport. Charge was $12 each way and definitely worth it when you consider that they charge $14/day for self parking and $18/day for valet.
I was quite surprised that this hotel allows pets. I generally stay in Marriott's and I don't think that I have seen this before. Great if you are a pet owner :) but it honestly didn't bother me at all.
Overall, good location, good service, good night sleep!
