Surfer Beach Hotel
My friend and I decided to take a vacation to visit San Diego. If you are looking for beach atmosphere with acceptable rate then this is the place, because you are right on the beach just few steps to the sand. You are staying here not for great accomodations but for the ocean. Our room had a balcony with a fantastic view of the ocean. Hotel is just steps from the most popular restaurants with great atmosphere, and great shopping. We really enjoyed walking on the beach every morning. This is really a fun place to hang out and meet people.

Re: Surfer Beach Hotel
Checked in and got a room on the first floor. Didn't realize until it got dark that we missed out on getting a room with a balcony to sit out on and enjoy the view. (Just something to consider when checking in or reserving your room)
Though this is a pet friendly hotel, the beach in front of the hotel does not allow them at all so don't make the mistake and bring your pet out on the beach because you'll get a big fat fine.
Overall this was a good hotel in a great location...Pacific Beach ROCKS!

Re: Surfer Beach Hotel
Right on the beach is hard to beat! My buddies and I headed down south for my birthday weekend. We got three rooms at the Surfer Beach Hotel and partied like rock stars in Pacific Beach. No need to worry about a D.D. because we walked every where that we went. Woke up early not feeling so hot but walked out the hotel right onto the sand and went for a surf to clear my head. The beach is killer there and the girls just don't get any better!

Re: Surfer Beach Hotel
So I'm not a surfer, I'm a boogie boarder but I still loved this hotel. Usually surfers give me weird looks out in the water but not here. I felt welcomed and a valued customer. I loved the beds and my ocean view was the tops.
