My husband and two kids ate here after a very tiring day of hiking so we had worked up quite an appetite. We were told that Tsuruhashi Japanese BBQ serves Kobe Beef and it just doesn't get any better than that! Our mouths were watering as we entered the restaurant. It all smelled so good.
Our dinner was delicious. Portions were not huge but we were all satisfied with the amount. I highly recommend ordering the tin of fresh garlic and oil to roast table side along with the beef and veggies.
They do not take reservations and they get pretty busy so the wait can be long. My suggestion is to dine early or enjoy some sake while you wait to be seated.
