"Couldn't really complain--the baba ghanouj was light and creamy, the pita soft and warm. I was full and the food was very delicious. Best Middle-Eastern food in San Diego."

Re: Aladdin Mediterranean Restaurant

I was really stoked to find Aladdin's had a decent selection of vegetarian choices. I am not a strict vegetarian and will eat fish and chicken in a pinch but prefer not to.

The vegetarian meza platter is more than I could possibly eat and took half of it home for dinner.  I tried their mango ceylon rooibos (tea) and it was amazing.  no room for dessert here!

The Aladdin had great service, authentic food, and a beautiful hostess.

Re: Aladdin Mediterranean Restaurant

My college girlfriend invited us to lunch at The Aladdin.  She works in San Diego and is a lunchtime regular there.  The menu offers a variety of items.  I had the chicken salad that was the best salad I had had in a looooong time.  Everything was so crunchy and fresh!  My daughter ordered the chicken kabob which was served with rice.  There was much more on the plate that she or even I could eat for lunch.  My girlfriend and husband both had the lamb.  All four of us were stuffed and happy by the end of the meal.  This restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside but is definitely a huge hit on the inside, as far as the food and service goes!!
