Experience impeccable views and delicious seafood in a quintessential San Diegan atmosphere.

Summary
Baleen (officially BALEENsandiego) may be an exceptional fine dining restaurant in the middle of San Diego’s sparkling Mission Bay, but it offers all the finery with a distinctly warm and San Diegan charm. Consider the name of the prix fixe menu from autumn 2009: "Three for Thirty Dining Stimulus Package."
Baleen does insist that guests dress up, but the restaurant is the flagship dining establishment of the luxurious Paradise Point Resort & Spa. Treat yourself to an experience of finery, San Diego style. Try the prix fixe, some of signature “monkey bread,” or oysters from Carlsbad, just thirty miles up the coast.
Watch your food prepared in the exhibition kitchen or enjoy the views of Mission Bay. The staff will wait on you, hand and foot to create a treasured dining experience.

Re: BALEENsandiego
The patio seating has the best view of Mission Bay. This would be the place to be on the 4th of July to watch the fireworks!
The restaurant offers a complete dinner with dessert for $30, though we did not order that. The Chilean Sea Bass was out of this world! I'd recommend an Arugula Salad over the Lobster Bisque. 5 star service, 5 star ambiance, 5 star food in a 5 star hotel
