Re: Bertrand at Mister A's

The concierge at my hotel recommended Mister A's to eat dinner but unfortunately I had to catch an earlier train home and instead, went for lunch. It is located in Bankers Hill up on the 12th floor of a building and has a killer view of downtown San Diego. I didn't have a car but it looked as if parking could be a little tricky due to the fact that you have to park on the street.  

The outdoor patio is the place to sit if you want the best views of the city and I would imagine sunsets are incredible from up there.  This place would be the perfect place to take someone that you really wanted to impress.  Everything about it is top notch and more.  I have a Kobe Beef Burger along with their famous truffle fries.  GREAT burger and unusually good fries. I am usually the type that likes the good old fashioned steak fries with nothing on them so I was really surprised that I enjoyed these as much as I did.  They were made with an assortment of herbs and Parmesan cheese.  Tasty!

Lunch was a bit pricey and I would imagine dinner for two would be quite expensive but it's the kind of place that you go just for the view itself!
