When it comes to seafood, Blue Point is the number one stop for locals and visitors to the Gaslamp area. The space inside is open and airy creating a cheerful vibe with floor-to-ceiling windows.

Specialty dishes, mastered by Chef Jonathan Hale, include a variety of raw oysters, Lobster Potstickers, Pan Seared Scallops, Crab Stuffed Trout, and Ricotta Cheesecake or Peach Strudel for dessert. He emphasizes freshness, sustainability, and cleanliness throughout all of the innovative dishes.

The exceptional servers will provide friendly service without being too intrusive. Upon arrival guests are greeted with a basket of warm sourdough rolls and then are presented with a portion of diced ahi sashimi and micro-greens. Re: Blue Point

Blue Point Oysters is what the Blue Point Restaurant is all about and WOW...Were they ever good!  The dining room along with the bar were quite busy and loud.  The waiters were short handed yet our service did not suffer.  We were very impressed by that.  Like I said before, the blue point oysters were incredible here.  We also had the seafood platter to share and some soup, salad, and bread- we were stuffed.

This restaurant would make a great impression on a first date.  Just make sure that she isn't allergic to fish! LOL
