Bonnie Jean's Soul Food Cafe has the BEST FRIED CHICKEN I HAVE EVER HAD!
Bonnie Jean's Soul Food Cafe has the BEST FRIED CHICKEN I HAVE EVER HAD! And, those addicting green beans with the equally delicious Garlic Aoli.... Ewwwww Weeeeeee it was good! I wanted to order the Mac-N-Cheese Balls but knew I'd never have enough room in my belly for the fried chicken too so I passed and now have an excuse to return!
The service at this restaurant was very friendly and hospitable. I almost felt as if we were sitting in a restaurant in the deep south. I highly recommend getting yourself down to this cute soul restaurant and order up some of the best fried chicken you'll ever come across!

Re: Bonnie Jean's Soul Food Cafe
We haven't had real soul-food like this since we left the south. This was the perfect kid friendly place to eat for a family like us. Nothing fancy at all. We ate there on a Sunday and the place was packed. Everyone was all dressed up in their Sunday best obviously coming from church. If you don't want to wait, I suggest getting there early.
I suggest the deep fried mac n cheese or the catfish, or the fried chicken. It's hard to choose. Oooooooweeeee was it ever GOOD!
