Re: Cafe Japengo
Excellent restaurant located next door to the Hyatt Regency. This place does some volume! Happening bar, tasty food, ok service, gorgeous people. Order the 9 Ingredient Rice (or maybe it is 10 or 11 Ingredient Rice??) as a side dish. My mouth waters just thinking of it.
The restaurant is pretty loud so I wouldn't recommend it for elderly or young children.

Re: Cafe Japengo
Thursday Nights at Cafe Japengo just doesn't get any better! Talk about the place to be.... We showed up at about 7 for a drink before dinner and the place was packed. I had never seen such beautiful people in one spot in all of my life. We ended up skipping dinner and did drinks and appetizers in the bar. Portions are on the smaller side and a bit overpriced. We shared the sampler (spring rolls, pot stickers, and calamari) and the assorted sashimi...to die for!
Dress to impress and remember, less is best!
