Summary
Hash House A Go Go is San Diego’s premiere breakfast restaurant. With its enormous portions and central location in Hillcrest, the Hash House will keep you fueled and exploring San Diego well past breakfast.
Try some of the house favorites, such as Andy’s Sage Fried Chicken, served with a maple reduction, 2 eggs, bacon mashed potatoes, and a biscuit. Oh, there are waffles, too. If that doesn’t fill you up (or you still have some room), try something with pancakes. They’re only a foot wide.
Hash House A Go Go also offers dinner and lunch alongside monster-sized cocktails. Get there early, though. Lines for Hash House can stretch out the door and beyond.

Has House A Go Go You will not be disappointed!
My mouth is waters every time I think of the outrageous Salmon Hash I had at Has House A Go Go. I had never heard of such a thing until I ate there and I don't think I would try anything else because this was seriously, the most unbelievable breakfast I have ever eaten. Bits of salmon, cream cheese, potatoes, eggs... Am I making you hungry???
Make sure you have an empty stomach when you go there and I promise you, you WILL NOT be disappointed!

Re: Hash House A Go Go
The bartender fom another restaurant recommended this restaurant for brunch. He was soooo right! The food was fabulous- 12" pancakes (plain or with fruit), 4-5 different types of hash to choose from, or 3 extra large Texas style french toast covered in bananas and walnuts!
The staff was excellent and focused on details regardless of the crowds. Our coffee cup was always full and the finished plates were removed promptly. They even brought the leftovers all boxed up nicely for us.
This is obviously a locals favorite restaurant. Be sure to call ahead for reservations and allow plenty of time to find parking.
