Try not to fill up before the meal: Piatti supplies you with complimentary baskets of warm bread and a heavenly olive oil-balsamic vinegar combination for dipping. The other appetizers aren’t part of the table service, but provide traditional and delicious Italian flavors: bruschetta, carpaccio, and fritto misto (calamari) are all offered. The entrees are similar, traditional and decadent. Pasta shines, especially the house-made ricotta and basil Ravioli al Limone and the Pappardelle, but pizza and other meats are also available.

If your favorite isn’t on the menu, it may be because Chef Pepe Ccapatinta changes the menu based on seasonable availability of ingredients. And while the menu changes, the quality of the food—and the quality of the service—does not.
