"The service was outstanding. You don't get good service in a restaurant in France, but this combination of American-informed service and French-informed food is marvelous! It was worth 5 stars. "

Re: Tapenade

We chose this restaurant based on the award it received for SD's best french restaurant of the year, and after eating there, we would have to agree.  In fact, we thought it was the best french food we have ever had here in the US.

Being that this was our first time eating there, our server recommended the tasting menu.  Each item was served with a different wine that complimented the entree.  Absolutely fabulous and what a presentation they do!  My wife hasn't stopped talking about the fois gras...She could have made a meal out of it.  We were so full that we didn't have room for dessert though they did look remarkable.  Next time, we'll have to pace ourselves.
