The Cottage Restaurant La Jolla
The Cottage is a staple for a good breakfast/brunch/lunch. Though there's a good amount of seating inside and on the patio, the popularity of the cottage makes it difficult to get seated right away, and once you do get seated, the serve is a bit on the slow side. I suggest this place if you have the time to enjoy a nice long meal and have the patience to find the parking!
Excellent food and location in La Jolla!

The Cottage La JOlla
DRIVING UP THE COAST WE DECIDED TO STOP AT THIS CUTE LITTLE LA JOLLA CAFE.
OUR BREAKFAST WAS ENORMOUS IN FACT WE COULD HAVE SPLIT AN OMELET. THEY WERE SERVED WTIH HOME POTATOES AND TOAST. PLENTY TO FILL US UP FOR THE REST OF THE DAY. IT SEEMED TO US THAT THIS RESTAURANT IS FREQUENTED BY LOCALS. THE WAITERESSES KNEW EVERYONE BY NAME. WE WOULD LIKE TO RETURN ON A NICE, WARM, SUNNY DAY AND SIT OUTSIDE TO ENJOY THE PATIO. THEIR COFFEE IS STRONG AND YOUR CUP NEVER GOES EMPTY.
