Tour Stops

  • The Park - This park is considered the third jewel in the San Diego park system behind Balboa Park and Mission Bay. There are 25 + trails offering different terrain for any type of hiker. Bouldering/rock climbing is a major attraction as well as fishing in the Kumeyaay Lake and Lake Murray.
  • The Visitor Center - For in-depth information about the parks history, natural plant life and animals check out the visitor center featuring a theater with shows running daily.
  • Old Mission Dam - This is a historic landmark that is the starting point for many trails. The path up to the dam is fully wheelchair accessible and features informational displays.
  • Lake Murray - The lake is located on the border of the park and is open for boating and shore fishing. Rental boats are available on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. There are multiple barbecue pits and picnic tables around the lake.
