Some of the attractions include the Cultural Center, Museum of the Californias featuring IMAX films, Tijuana Wax Museum, and Avenida Revolucion. The Tijuana Visitors Bureau offers guided walking tours, which is highly recommended.
- Entertainment - Most visitors come to Tijuana for the great shopping bargains and authentic food. Avenida Revolucion is the mecca for entertainment featuring shops, bars, restaurants and zebra painted donkeys. Visit the Jai Alai Palace to see Lucha Libre, Mexican professional wrestling.
- Other Fun Things - One of the most popular attractions is the bullring, where visitors can watch an authentic bullfight that happen every Sunday afternoon, May to September. The ring is located on Avenida Revolucion. You can also check out a greyhound race at the Aqua Caliente Race Track, which can be reached by a short taxi ride.
Important Information
- Take cash because you will get better prices and the US dollar is widely accepted.
- Bring documentation for the border check. US citizens can visit Mexico for up to 72 hours without a visa. (passport or government-issued photo ID and birth certificate, are most common).
- You can park your car on the US side of the border and walk across to Tijuana. Public transportation is easy to find if you need to travel outside of the main city area.
