San Diego Airport Information
The San Diego International Airport (SAN) welcomes visitors into the city with stunning views of the San Diego Bay. Located just minutes from downtown, tourists will be just a short cab ride or shuttle trip away from area hotels and attractions. The San Diego Airport is also great for business travelers who will arrive just minutes away from the convention center and affordable hotels.
The international airport, accepting flights from Mexico and Canada, has been renovated to make traveling to San Diego even easier. Gates were added to Terminal 2 and the existing facilities received a major upgrade to accommodate more air traffic. The airport accepts approximately 300 flights per day on one runway - the busiest single runway in the nation!
Airport Parking
San Diego International Airport has several parking options for visitors to suit their long-term or short-term needs. On site parking is located outside of each terminal for hourly and daily rates. Additionally, surrounding parking lots operated by the airport provided safe and well-lit parking with shuttle service to and from the airport.
