San Diego Attractions

"The best things in life are free." While those lyrics weren't first sung about San Diego, they easily apply. Some of the best "attractions" in San Diego have no admission fee.

Park on the street around the La Jolla bluffs and climb down to the water. If you bring your own mask and snorkel, you can hop in—enjoy watching the natural beauty of the caves and teeming schools of garibaldi, California’s State Fish. Seals frequently sun themselves at the Children's Pool.

Take a hike around Torrey Pines Reserve and Park, with its beautiful views and ancient trees. Wander around Old Town, the Gaslamp District, or Balboa Park. Or bring a blanket and a Frisbee to the beach. Just because the Zoo and SeaWorld are famous doesn't mean that they're the only attractions in San Diego. Give one of the "free" attractions a try.
