I wasn't aware until after we checked in that The Dana on Mission Bay is the only hotel within walking distance to Sea World. How fab is that?!!They gave us a beautiful room with a gorgeous view and easy access to the pool. There was also a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. In the evening, the hotel showed a family movie out at the pool area for anyone that wanted to watch. Our kids really enjoyed that! (I don't think they have movies every night though...) There are bikes available to rent and if you are feeling energetic, you can ride 28 miles around the entire bay. We just putted around and had a good old time with the kids.
This is definitely the place to stay if you are going to San Diego to go to Sea World. It's a beautiful resort that I hope we can return to.
