Re: La Costa Resort & Spa
My family recently took a trip to California and the La Costa Resort & Spa is where we stayed. When we first arrived we were not expecting such a lavish place, but it turned out to be superb! Our only regret was that we did not have more time to enjoy the spa and golf but we certainly did make good use of all the amenities. Our room was a haven- no outside noise what-so-ever. The staff was wonderful, the grounds were sensational. San Diego has to have the best selection of restaurants. Every type of cuisine was found in the surrounding area of our hotel. I have already recommended this resort to several friends and family and look forward to our next vacation in San Diego!!

Re: La Costa Resort & Spa
My brothers wife just left him and his 11 year old son for another woman, yes another woman. I decided to take my brother and nephew for the weekend down to Carlsbad and go to Legoland, and the SD Zoo. We stayed at La Costa Resort because it is a nice resort and close to LegoLand. The resort was the nicest place that my brother and nephew had ever stayed in. We actually blew off the SD Zoo and played golf instead. I didn't realize my nephew was already a decent golfer. The course there is beautiful. Rather challenging but we didn't care how poorly we did. It was all about hanging out with each other, having a good time, and trying to forget about what was going on with his wife/mother. We just had one room for the three of us and that was perfectly fine. There was plenty of room and they brought in a roll-away bed though we never used it.
Carlsbad is a great area. The people are very friendly and the weather is always perfect, or so they say.
