World Famous, nestled right along the oceanfront in PB, offers a great place to grab a couple of Bloody Mary's or even a romantic sunset dinner.

Walk in and to the left is the seating area, and just behind that - the vast Pacific Ocean. The scene includes anyone from first-time tourists to seasoned San Diegans to local college youngsters. Head back and to the right to find the bar, where you can grab a couple of appetizers, guzzle a few back and watch the game.
For breakfast they've got some amazing omelets and benedicts. Also, if you're looking to stabilize after a night of profuse inebriation - they've got some of the best Bloody Mary's in all of San Diego. Seafood lovers can choose from selections such as the Maui Grilled Shrimp Salad, Hokkaido Sea Scallops or the Mardi Gras Seafood Pasta. Also delectable is a surf and turf, steak and scampi combo.
Vegetarians can indulge upon various pastas and salads. Although there are food specials every night of the week, Taco Tuesdays usually draws the biggest crowd. There is a parking lot right next to the restaurant. As far as spots go, it's hit or miss. Always worth a try though - maybe you'll get lucky. Overall, World Famous has all the fine quality's that go along with a great oceanfront dining experience.

After a surf, there is nothing better than a World Famous PB Bloody Mary and Eggs Benedict. It was the first time there for me and my buddies and now we know why the place gets the business that they do. We had to wait 40 minutes to get seated but definitely worth the wait. I don't think we would have ever eaten here if we weren't staying right across at the Surfer Beach Hotel. Good thing we did. KILLER place to eat, drink, chill and relax!
