A slew of restaurants, shops and bars populate Garnet Ave in Pacific Beach. This is the place to be on the weekends if you're looking for fun or a cold beer after a long day of surfing. This place gets crazy during football and baseball season, where big fans settle in to watch the game. This is also a great place to pick up California souvenirs for all your friends you left at home!As for food, there's Mexican, pizza, subs, sushi, Italian and Hawaiian.

Konos

Located at the very end of Garnet on Crystal Pier, Konos is a great spot to grab breakfast. Even though there's a bit of a wait they have amazing beach views, reasonable prices and spectacular food - featuring an assortment of breakfast burritos and delectable egg dishes. On the weekends, locals and visitors gather in a line that stretches outside the door to have a beachside meal. It's certainly worth your while.

Happy Hour

For happy hour there are plenty of options: Moondoogies, PB Bar & Grill, Longboards and Lahaina's which is actually one of the only places directly on the beach. Check out Nick's, slightly off Garnet on Thomas and Mission, for an extra-chill scene, half price pitchers, numerous big screen TV's and an ocean view roof deck.
